The First Day of the Rest of His Life

Graduation was an exciting day for several reasons. My brother Rick and his family have just moved here to Utah , so they were all able to attend the graduation and that was fun. The most exciting thing was when we returned home though. The football coach from Snow College had called and asked Chad to come and play for them next year. If he earns the starting position they will give him a scholarship. We are thrilled!!!
Chad is a remarkable young man and has so much to look forward to in the coming years.

Chad and Jannicka (Yan-ick-a) at his graduation. The pictures are a bit dark for some reason. Anyway, Chad's " Friend" is flying home today to Norway. He is at the airport right now. They have had a fun few months together. He is sad to see her go !

Yes , we are the proud parents of another High School Graduate. Halla-looya ! Chad's High School years have been fun for us as well. We however are about to open a new chapter in our lives with a live away from home college student.
