Well this entire trip came from the desire to go to Portland to see my Uncle Bill who is very ill. I didn't want to wait any longer due to his condition. My sister Stacy decided she was moving to Seattle and so we helped her move last week. We through in a little together time vacation , just Mike and I. We wanted to drive down the coast and camp on the beach. So we did just that. Here are a few pictures of our journey. I call it the Twilight Tour since we stopped by all the popular " Twilight" spots from the book. It was really fun. Mike was a very big good sport about it. There were so many high lights for me, Here are a few of them.

La Push Beach on the Indian Reservation

This picture shows a run off stream flowing into the ocean. That is how all of the old trees end up on the beach. This same thing is happening all over the Northern Coast Line.

We had a nice camp site. Just across the road to the beach.Mike setting up our cute new tent.

Nice relaxing view of the ocean. I wish it was not so grey out everyday!
Interesting Beach Art

Cool drift wood.

The beach was packed with drift wood to burn (with a permit) of course.
