Happy Mother' Day ~ Yes You Can
Can you love more deeply, a child who sometimes strays
Can you sit in silence when there are things to say
Can you look into their eyes and read them like a book
Can you know what they will say, when they give you that look
Can you pray for strength to guide and point the right direction
Can you do what it will take, to make a course correction
Can you cheer them to the finish line
Can you let them go when they're doing fine
At times I know you wonder, why do I even bother
The truth is simply put, it's because they call you Mother

Life is a Puzzle
Life is like a puzzle with pieces everywhere
Sometimes they are gathered, sometimes they are shared
There are times we often find them scattered on the ground
Things do change, time does pass, and longed for pieces found
Stress will come and stress will go, work together and you will grow
The path you're on has bumps and bends
Hold on to faith don't let trust end
As your life comes together, and all the pieces fit
Enjoy the love and laughter, and always keep your wit
You'll have trials, there is no doubt, an important piece you will find out
Steady as the picture clears, this masterpiece will take some years
You both bring pieces with you, that make you who you are
With patience, love and kindness, together you'll go far
Sometimes they are gathered, sometimes they are shared
There are times we often find them scattered on the ground
Things do change, time does pass, and longed for pieces found

Kalli & Tyson
He asked Mike if he could marry Kalli and Mike said," YES"
Tyson took Kalli to St. George over Spring Break, where he asked her to
marry him. He gave her a beautiful ring.
Our family is growing and I love it.

It's Not What You Think
It has been several months since I blogged. Wow, that sounds weird for me! Other than my poetry, I usually don't just write on my blog I always have pictures. Often to many pictures. However, I am now going to try and catch up on everything.
Chad began his sophomore year at Snow College at the end of July. He is the punter on the football team again this season. My baby boy also turned 20 on September 26th. It's funny that no matter how old your kids get you still refer to them by their birth position in the family. Kevin also celebrated his birthday. He turned 25 in August. He celebrated with his friends this year. It was a weird change for the rest of the family.
We have gone camping and riding in the Manti La Sal Forest above Ephraim Utah. It was strange to only have two of the kids on that trip. We had a really nice Labor Day Weekend. In September Mike and I invited Cynthia Walker and Matt & Karla Berhold to go to the San Juan ATV Safari in Blanding Utah. It was really fun and we stayed in a hotel so that made life easier. We were able to see alot of the beautiful South Eastern part of Utah. The indian ruins were amazing to see. We also met some really great people from the area.
We had some family and friends have some scarey surgeries. Everyone is doing well now but we spent alot of time on our knees in prayer for them.
These are just a few of the links in the chain that is our life. They are held together by the every day activities and responsibilties we all have. I'm grateful for all the blessings I have that make the trials in life worth it!
Sorry no picture today!
